What people are saying about Holly, her ministry, and her blog:
Dr. John D. Morgan, Senior Pastor
Sagemont Church Holly Brown is a lady sent from God to speak into the hearts of women who desire to know God's word and apply it to their life. her anointed gift is to bring a message of love and excitement to young women who are seeking to know God's plan personally. She walks the walk as well as talking the talk. Our church is richly blessed by her ministry. |
Wes Holloman, Associate Pastor,
Sagemont Church Holly is a very talented and gifted communicator. The way in which she communicates is like you sitting one-on-one with Holly in her living room, enjoying the company while learning so much from God’s Word. Her love for the Lord and for others is so evident in every area of her life. Since she serves full-time on a church staff, she understands the value of having a speaker who will work with your specific theme. For me, that is a HUGE asset to have in a speaker. What makes Holly stand out from others is that she is so relate-able to students off the stage as well. All I can say is that you will love having Holly speak at your next church event! |
Aleina - Mom of Teenage Daughter
It is so hard to put into just a few words what an amazing godly woman Holly Brown is. In the few short years Holly has been part of the Sagemont Church's Student Ministry, she has made a huge impact on our youth. Beyond Holly’s amazing education, the living testimony of her life with her husband Aaron Brown is what every mother dreams of for her own daughter. Her love for Christ is seen in everything she says and does. The wisdom and life example that she carries with such grace is why I feel beyond blessed and honored to have Holly as a part of my daughter’s life. |

Thankful for a friend with such talent! Well said, Holly Brown! Good advice for young women, but all women should read. Let's instill values in our youth. They are searching for truth! Sarah - Young Mother
I can't help but share this blog post! Hits home for a lot of women... Anna - College Freshman

I have been enthralled by Holly since she first started teaching. There have been so many occasions where I wish I could transport myself back in time and be a young teenager again to hear the truth told in such bold and relevant terms. She keeps the attention of teenagers (not an easy feat) and also gives wonderful personal examples to bring understanding to the teachings of the Word. You will definitely not be disappointed to have her speak life to your girls!

Holly is one of the most inspirational people I have ever met. The obstacles that she has overcome in her life, is enough for 10 people. But more importantly is how she overcame these mountainous trials. The faith that she has displayed in her times of tribulation demonstrates the kind of faith that every woman should have. Does Holly have her flaws? Of course she does, it is those flaws that make me appreciate Holly that much more. It is through these flaws that she teaches the girls at Sagemont what it looks like to be a godly woman. She shows us that God doesn't use perfect people. He uses people like Moses, with a speech impediment, Gideon, who doubted God and His will, Paul, who killed early Christians mercilessly, and he uses people like Holly Brown to further the Kingdom of God. I don’t know where I’d be without Holly. If God never placed her in my life, I would still think that I can navigate through life on my own, for it is through Holly that God convicted me of my pride. It is because of Holly that I can now see myself as who God intended me to see my self: a beautiful woman who is far from useless in the Kingdom. It is because of Holly that I no longer see school as an obligation, but a fertile ground for evangelism (and that school work actually needs to get done). It is because of Holly that I have found a place in ministry, and she continues to push me to go further and deeper into the love of God. She challenges me to do more for the Kingdom each and every time she can. Do I always heed that call to arms? Nope. But at least the conviction for action rests on my heart because of Holly. All in all Holly Brown is one of the reasons I am who I am today. Because she listens to the call of God to encourage, challenge, and minister to others, I can begin to grasp the plan God has for my life, and I hope Holly will be there every step of the way.
